Quick answer
Capitol Hill, just south of downtown across the river, was incorporated as its own town in 1904 and annexed by Oklahoma City in 1911. Its older homes and small storefronts along Commerce Street and South Robinson need the same things most often: troubleshooting, panel upgrades, partial rewiring and grounded outlets. We cover it from our nearby south side service office.
Homes in Capitol Hill
What the housing looks like in Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill was incorporated as a town in 1904 and stayed independent until Oklahoma City annexed it in 1911. Early on it grew into a community of about 500 homes and 30 businesses, most of them along South Robinson and what is now SW 27th.
The neighborhood's housing is older than most of the city, and the business district still has small storefronts where shops, restaurants and offices share buildings that have been rewired many times.
